Don’t let the fact this little gem is in an old gas station put you off from some great food. My husband had the fried oysters and I had the Atlantic white fish. Both were delicious. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful. The food was delivered lightning fast. Owner Papa who is very personable was in the dining area often and made sure we were happy.
Traveling from Philly to Dallas. Stopped. Man oh man. Excellent food. My husband ate Greek and I had fish. So much food we had it for dinner as well. The owner greeted us before and after he made our lunch. Stop and eat at this place. It was spotless as well!!!
Tweeks Road trip Food Review: Define lately a decent, yummy, non chain stop for really good Greek and greek seafood if going up or down I81 through Wythville. Papa, the owner, says he's been serving Greek and Greek seafood here for around 36yrs! A super nice guy. The fried clams were especially good. Not those Sysco, pre breaded, frozen garbage. These were fresh breaded and fried clams. Good stuff. My wife had the gyro platter and I had the fried ale broiled seafood platter . They even subbed garlic butter broccoli for my fries. NOM!
I had the seafood delight which includes shrimp, oysters, stuffed crab, fish, baked potato and slaw. My husband had a ham and cheese sub and fries. Everything was delicious and the server was wonderful. The owner checked on us also. I would definitely go back again.
Terrific food. Large generous portions and served warm. Tasty Greek food, especially gyros lamb and chicken. Definitely would eat here again.
This is a hidden gem with the freshest food, largest portions, friendly staff, clean and awesome atmosphere. Papa Taso even came out to meet and greet us. Don't let the fact that it's an old service station converted to a diner scare you away. This diner deserves to be on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. I had the Gyro and my husband had the fried popcorn shrimp. All was so fresh. Oh and the complimentary hush puppies are out of this world. All this plus 2 beers, tea and Pepsi for 29.00
The owner Papa was so nice and friendly. The food was delicious and the portions were huge. Definitely recommend coming here hungry.. We both got the ribeye special. Their homemade chicken noodle soup was wonderful, and he gave us complimentary which was delicious as well.
This was a bit of a mixed bag. The good - excellent portions for the cost, and fantastic service. Atmosphere was fun and appealing. The food - well, I got a seafood platter and enjoyed it, although the shrimp and scallops were a bit overdone. The flounder was great, as were the oysters and stuffed crab. My wife unfortunately got what is billed on the menu as chicken Alfredo. It wasn’t. If it had ANY Parmesan in it, I couldn’t detect it. There was obviously mozzarella in it, and little else. It was beautifully garnished, but if you’ve ever tried to eat a dish of chicken in mozzarella and noodles, you’ll probably agree it’s not a great experience. They did try to make it right, and allowed her to order something else, to their credit. So overall, I might go back again - but not for pasta.
